Focus is often on the technical
aspect or the graphic design of your site. Unfortunately, businesses that fail
miserably online usually fail to see that the web runs on content, which coins
the term “Content Is King”!
Part of developing your web site for online success is to plan your web site
content strategically. A web site that includes planned and thought out content
within its web pages has a much higher chance of profiting. If your objectives for your web site are to help increase your sales and generate leads for your

business then there are three groups of content we suggest your web site
should have to help you reach this goal:

· Business information

· Pre-sell content

· Helpful information that generates sales and leads

Business Information:

Business information focuses on the information that tells visitors to your site
who you are, what your business is about, what you sell and how they can
purchase your products and services. Here are the main ones:

· Information about you (the owner), your company or both. This type of
information will develop trust.
· Detailed service and product information. This includes prices and
features.

· Contact information, hours of operation and location.

· Specific policies such as: return policy, guarantees and disclaimers.

· Information on how your product or service is delivered or accomplished.

· Information that brands your business, product or service.

Pre-sell Content:

Pre-sell content is designed to convince visitors to your site to do business with
you, even directly buy. Think of this information to be your virtual sales person
on your web site.
Pre-sell content can be presented as:

· Written in a form of an article or sales page. You can also make this
same message in audio form and add it to the same web page for
convenience.

· Image presentation such as photo gallery or slideshow to present a work
portfolio or to display product highlights.

· Video in a form of a presentation or demonstration.
Here are suggested pre-sell content:

· Define the benefits your customer can experience if they purchase your
products or services.

· Does it save them time?

· Is it more affordable than your competitors’ products and services?
· Think of problems or challenges your potential customer experiences and

how your products and services can solve it and create web site content
for it.

· Compare your products and services to your competitor and define what
makes you better or different.
Spend some time to strategically plan to create pre-sell web pages on your site.
The effort helps increase activity in your site and helps convert visitors to sales
or leads.

Helpful Information:

Helpful information is value added information or educational information that
can help visitors understand what your product or service is all about and how
it can help them. Helpful information usually answers the what, where, when
and how.
Here are some suggestions of helpful information that you can provide to
generate sales and leads:

· Describe how to choose a product or service

· Advanced ways of using a product

· Advanced techniques that your product or service provides that they can
not do themselves.

· Technical information about a product and service

· Common questions and answers related to a product or service. Can be
presented as a FAQ web page.

· Product and service reviews with emphasis on the benefits of each
comparison.

· Product and service detailed tutorial loaded with valuable "How to" or

"Instructional" tips and advice.

· An interesting interview with someone (make it exclusive and original).
People love to read about other people's experiences, opinions and
views. Can be provided in audio form on your web site.
Creating your web site content is a challenge, but there is absolutely no
substitute for it.
If you want to attract and retain visitors to your web page, it is worth the effort
to create strategic and interesting information that helps generate sales and
leads.
When the information is categorized as helpful and relevant by your visitor,
then you may even get them interested enough to visit your site over and over
again.
For ecommerce store sites, web content writing lays heavily on the description of your products. So it does not matter if your web site offers information or

product selections, creating web site content applies.

Optimized Content For The Search Engines…

As you already know, search engine optimization is all about making sure that

your web page appears as near to the top of the natural search results as
possible. To do this, you need to build individual pages in your site around
keyword phrases that match the terms that people use to seek information
about your products and services. This is usually done by creating articles.
When deciding to develop an article web page the key factor to determining
what to write about is knowing what people using the search engines are
looking for in relation to your products and services. Keyword research can
help you determine this. When you know what people are asking, you can
develop content about the subject and also optimize the article for the search
engines as well.
Keyword research is the core of search engine optimization (SEO). Keyword
research is the process of finding and selecting keywords or keyword phrases,
which relate to your web page, and are commonly entered on the search
engines by Internet surfers.
When selecting keywords, it must also be taken into consideration the sort of
response generated by certain keywords, alongside the people who would
respond greatly to those words. By selecting keywords that express intent or
action oriented words, your business creates a greater probability of visitors
that are interested buyers instead of web window shoppers.
Moreover, selecting keywords that are closest in relevance to the content of the
web site provides higher probability of streamlining web traffic or visitors that
yields profits.
Popular keywords are those that users often enter into search engines. They
are typically vague in nature, but yield high in quantity of web traffic or visitors.
While popularity, relevance, and targeting are important, it must be balanced
with the competitive demand for a particular keyword. Obviously, more
businesses vying for the same word would create difficulties in acquiring that
keyword for your business’s use.
It is imperative to consider that although the keyword you selected is popular,
relevant, and targeted; it is not within the too competitive bracket, which will
make it extremely difficult to acquire and rank.

How to Best Select Your Keywords For Your Web Page Or Article

· Focus on one web page or article at a time.

· Brainstorm keywords and keyword phrases for your targeted web page
or article. Think of word phrases that you and others would use on the
search engine to find your information.

· Take your above list and use Google's free keyword tools to get
more suggested keyword phrases.

· Avoid choosing keywords that are too general in nature - choose more
specific keyword phrases. Example, a vague keyword phrase is "dog
training". More specific keyword phrases are "dog training ebook", “dog
training guide” and “dog trainer in Toronto”. Even more targeted and
specific keywords are “bulldog training guide” and “licensed dog trainer
in Toronto”.

· Group your keyword phrases that are similar in nature. For example,
“dog training ebook” and “dog training guide” are similar. But, “dog
training ebook and “dog trainer in Toronto” are different.

· Choose only 2 to 3 keyword phrases to focus on. One keyword phrase
should be a primary keyword phrase. Make sure the keyword phrases
are similar in nature. If you would like to use more than 3 keyword
phrases, then we recommend you develop another web page or article to
optimize for those keyword phrases.

· Develop or modify your current web page content or article and
incorporate your keyword phrases within your content. Your content
must remain well written to attract your visitors to continue reading it,
but you also need to strategically place your keywords within your web
page so search engines can determine what your web page is about.
This does not mean that you cannot create individual pages on your site for low
competition keyword search terms you find. In fact, the more content pages
you have that are keyword focused, the higher the search engine rankings you
will achieve from web site content.

Marketing Your Business On The Search Engines

                 Understanding The Search Engines…

Before explaining what search engine marketing (SEM) is, it is best to try to

explain how search engines fits into your eBusiness.

The first thing to say about search engines is that they are complex and they

have many facets and technical mathematical algorithms that constantly

change and shift.

The vast majority of people who are using the Net on

a daily basis are doing so to seek information, looking for answers to problems

that remain unsolved. Although there are many ways that people can search

the Net, the majority still use major search engines like Google™, Yahoo™ and

MSN™.

In order to search, they type a search word or phrase into a search box on the

page and hit the return button.

When that happens, they will be shown a search results page that presents

them with a couple of different types of information.

However, the one common feature that ties all of the information on that page

together is that every result shown is there for a specific reason. This is

because the search engine ‘thinks’ that the results shown are the most relevant

to the search term used of the many millions of individual web pages they have

listed in their database.

For example, this is a Google search for ‘weight loss’ information:

There are three things of note on this page.

Firstly, because the searcher has used the phrase ‘weight loss’ to find what

they are looking for, every entry on this page that features this exact term is

highlighted in bold type.

That is done to ensure that these results stand out, because Google is

highlighting the fact that these individual results represent the best match

between information provided and search term, as far as they’re concerned.

Secondly, at the top left hand corner and all down the right-hand side of the

page, you have paid advertising material, with a maximum of three adverts at

the top left and eight down the right-hand side. These adverts are placed

through the Google AdWords™ program by companies and individuals who

have weight loss related products to sell. This advert is called pay-per-click

(PPC) advertising (we will explain this further later on).

The adverts are paid advertising selected by bids on keywords. The ‘natural’ or

‘organic’ search results represent web pages which Google™ determines as

relevant to the search phrase. To get your web page on the natural search

results requires a process applied to your web pages called search engine

optimization (SEO).

In order to decide exactly how they are going to index and then rank web sites

and the individual pages on those sites, all of the major search engines send

out a programs known as search engine robots (‘bot’), or ‘spider’, to see what

each of those pages is about.

Because search engine bots and spiders only read text, web pages on sites that

are built on pure flash technology are not indexed. Flash technology is pure

graphics and does not contain text. Therefore, search engine bots or spiders

cannot read the content in flash web sites. If your web site is in this situation,

you will need to invest a lot on paying for search engine traffic, which can really

add up in the long term. The other alternative is to consider switching to a

search engine friendly built site. This could be less costly in the long term to

your business depending how many pages your site has.
However, what each of the individual search engines is actually looking for

when they send their spider to a web site is something of an unknown, with

Google™ in particular being very unwilling to give specific guidelines on how to

create a web site that they are going to like. Yahoo™ and MSN™ are far more

transparent in their results.

This is why search engine marketing exists. It allows businesses the

opportunity to get their web pages into the search engines and eliminates the

mystery of figuring out what search engine algorithms do.

That’s the next thing to look at.

Search Engine Marketing Strategies

Search engine marketing (SEM) is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to

promote web sites by increasing their visibility in the search engine results

pages (SERPs).

There are many ways to market your business online. The first method we

suggest focuses your efforts to expose your eBusiness to the right type of

consumers and surfers on the major search engines like; Google™, Yahoo™

and MSN™.

The reason why we advise that you focus on marketing your business on the

search engine as a first choice is because:

· 80% of visitors to web sites in the world wide web comes from search

engine queries

· There are over 250 million searches each day – this means high activity

of interest!

· Visitors from the search engines are 100% targeted because the search

engines are keyword phrase driven. Which means, visitors you receive

are usually searching specifically for your products and services based on

your keywords.

Users of search engines are a pool of potential buyers. There are thousands if

not millions of consumers that you can tap into who are looking for your

products and services online. But aiming to generate sales directly online can

be quite the challenge if you don’t know how to market your business properly

on the search engines. Therefore, investing some time to understand how to

market your business directly on the search engine is a necessary requirement

There are basically two main ways to market your business on the search

engine. One is a process called search engine optimization (SEO) and the other

is pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Let’s review them now.

Search Engine Traffic With Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising

Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is all about bidding for the top or leading

position on search engine paid listings, see picture below.

Advertisers do this by bidding on keyword phrases that are relevant to their

products or services. The higher you bid, the higher the spot that you may get

on the paid search results.

The great thing about pay-per-click advertising is that you only pay for your

advertising if a searcher clicks on your ad. So it does not matter if 500 people

view your ad, if only 5 people click on it you pay for 5 advertising clicks. This

means, you only pay when people are interested to see your offer on your web

site, but you get high ad exposure for free.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign by

creating your own ad. You can also manage the target audience and you can

control your spending by setting up a daily limit so you can stay within your

marketing budget. Most of the providers of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising will

allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical

location. You can also have the option to place your ad on hold and turn it back

on for viewing.

The main advantage of Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is you can get

traffic to your business site fast. In fact, you can get traffic in minutes after a

pay-per-click campaign is activated. The negative side of pay-per-click

advertising is that the cost can add up if your campaign is not managed

properly. The good news is learning to manage your pay-per-click advertising

campaign is easy as long as you learn how.

Search Engine Traffic with Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) consists of several processes that are applied

to your web page for the purpose of ranking on the first page of a search

engine organic or natural listing for your targeted keywords.

There are many aspects to search engine optimization; keyword strategy, onpage

optimization strategy and off-page optimization strategy. All these

strategies applied in unison help to drive your search engine rankings up the

organic or natural listing seen below:

Keyword strategy focuses on determining the best keyword terms to use and

which to work on for top search engine ranking. Further, choosing the right

keyword phrase is the key to how a searcher will find your products and

services on your site.

On-page optimization strategy balances what you need to do on your web

page to help the search engine know what your web page is about (via your

keywords) and making your web page presentable to a human visitor so they

remain on your site and eventually take action (i.e. buy or contact you).

Off-page optimization strategy focuses on getting back links to your web

page for the purpose of increasing the importance and value of your web page.

The ultimate goal to doing search engine optimization (SEO) is to have your

web page rank in the first page of Google™ organic or natural search results

page. The first page is where most search engine users click to find what they

are looking for. If this is accomplished, the other search engines Yahoo™ and

MSN™ will eventually follow. Some sites rank better on Yahoo™ and MSN™

before Google™ and that is a good thing, because eventually Google™ will favor

these sites just for that reason.

The main advantage of SEO is receiving 100% free targeted traffic from the

search engine to your site. The negative side of SEO is that it takes a lot of

work and it takes a long time before you can see results. Further, there is no

guarantee to get top ranking for your aimed keyword phrase, especially on

highly competitive keywords. Benefiting from applying SEO strategies can not

happen overnight.

In fact, it can take months, 6 months at the least, before the proper outcome is

fully achieved. Although it does take time to see results, it is very possible to

get a steady source of targeted traffic with the right keyword choices by

applying on-page optimization and off-page optimization actively.

In deciding which of the two search engine marketing strategies will work right

for you, think of your goals and of your resources. Both strategies definitely

offer benefits and advantages that will work for any business.

In our opinion, the best approach is to invest your efforts in pay-per-click

advertising first. If your online business is not getting any traffic or as little as

20 visitors a day it is time to start investing on advertising. If you are like most

businesses that want their business to thrive you need to advertise to let

people know about your products and services. Pay per click advertising can

bring you targeted visitors fast online.

The next step after you set up your business to get traffic from pay-per-click

advertising is to start focusing on search engine optimization (SEO) tactics. This

becomes a long-term marketing goal for your business. As indicated earlier,

SEO takes time and it takes a lot of work. But implementing SEO tactics bit by

bit will eventually pay off by receiving free targeted visitors from the search

engine’s organic or natural listing. When you start ranking for your targeted

keywords on the search engine organic listing, you can then start reevaluating

if you need to continue your pay-per-click advertising campaign for those

keyword terms.

It is not surprising that many businesses apply both search engine marketing

strategies on a long-term basis. They invest in pay-per-click advertising on

profitable but extremely competitive keyword terms that are difficult to rank for

and hault PPC advertising campaigns on keywords that they’ve successfully

ranked for on the organic search engine listing.

10 STRATEGIES FOR MAKING MONEY ONLINE

One thing to notice is that several of the monetization and traffic cells have an asterisk. That’s just a wild card. You can monetize with anything (direct advertising, Adsense, affiliate sales, your own product etc), and you can drive traffic in any way you like. First I’ll quickly explain what these 10 strategies are, or least, what I understand them to be from what I have read so far.

1) Blogging - By blogging I mean, a blog like this, that is regularly updated with real information. Not spam blogs, throwaway blogs etc.

2) Maximum Edge – This is what I have been doing so far that I have been calling (perhaps incorrectly), niche marketing. The monetization doesn’t matter. The key aspect is the use of trusted domains such as Squidoo, Wordpress etc to host content that will rank well. Generally, you own the web property so you can do what you want with it, such as monetizing it directly with Adsense / affiliate sales etc or directing traffic elsewhere.

3) Article (Bum) Marketing – This is another traffic driver, very similar to Maximum Edge except that the focus is on hosting your content on article directories. You do not own these – once you have submitted an article you (usually) cannot monetize it directly. Instead, this method is used to drive traffic elsewhere. The key factor seems to be churning out a LOT of articles targeted towards good keywords for your niche.

4) Email Marketing – You build an email list (get the traffic to it any way you can), and then sell to that list. Monetization is limited here – you can’t use Adsense but you can of course promote affiliate products or sell your own.

5) Niche Marketing – I’ve tweaked my definition of what this is. I now consider Niche Marketing to be the process of building an authority site in your niche that has internal pages that naturally rank well for the chosen keywords. This is a fairly medium-long term strategy because an authority site takes time to develop.

6) Ebook Marketing – until recently I had no idea that there were a whole bunch of ebook directories which you can submit to. So you create your (free) ebook that contains affiliate links or upsells embedded in it and you distribute it via these directories.

7) YouTube Marketing – YouTube is ridiculously popular and now that Google have launched Adsense for video, if you are somebody that can create popular videos, this becomes a great money making strategy. By tagging your videos appropriately, the traffic is taken care of so you can concentrate of creating videos that will be popular.

8) Facebook Applications – This one is not for everybody, as it requires programming skills but that’s ok for me and I just think it would be a really interesting programming project. I log into Facebook several times a day now and I’m even getting hooked on some of those applications. I’ll be watching Dan’s Facebook project on the Edge with interest over the coming weeks & months.

9) Trend Marketing – When a new trend / product / story / personality / whatever becomes hot, there is money to be made. For me personally, I think this would be a difficult strategy because I don’t keep myself up to date with trends that are outside of my personal interest but there are many people who do who could cash in here.

10) eBay Selling – I used to buy a lot of stuff on eBay, I never sold much :) This is bottom of the list simply because of the cost (risk) involved. But I know so many people who make a living from eBay and there are probably a dozen different strategies within just this field.

5 Advanced Money-Making Strategies For Affiliates

Tips on how to make more money in affiliate sales. These are the strategies that super-affiliates are using to make a living on the Internet.

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/StUAzQA5vgI/AAAAAAAAAHk/R_-XOvCPmU4/s400/2104-46med.jpg" />

1. Domain names

Use a separate domain name or a subdomain for each profitable affiliate program that you promote. Forward it to your affiliate link. People trust a domain name much more than a long affiliate URL, so you will get more clicks on your ads.

2. Mailing List

Build your own mailing list of prospects. Keep promoting different affiliate programs to the people on your list, as opposed to losing the visitor forever once they clicked over to the merchant’s site.

3. Success Stories

Write an inspirational success story on how this product helped you or someone you know. After identifying with your success story, many people will be ready to buy.

4. Reviews

Write a detailed review of the product with pros and cons. Of course, the pros should outweigh the cons. People will trust the review much more than a sales pitch.

5. Tracking

Always track how many visitors you are sending to each affiliate program, and how many sales you get from those visitors. This way you will separate the winning affiliate programs from the losers, and focus on promoting the most profitable ones.

MONEY MAKING STRATEGY: 3 ways to profit from online investing

Nowadays there many products available on the Internet which claim to help you make more money. However, not all of them are working, to say the least. So if in 2007 you want to follow a money making strategy and profit from your online investments you should take a look at our pieces of advice first.

1. Choose only reputable services

First and foremost, finding success with making money online is not as difficult as you may think. There may be many variables in online investments, but if you use products that have been tested and are robust, your efforts will go to the best possible use. So make sure you choose only those things which are already making money for people. Do your homework by first finding out what type of online investments people go for. Is it Forex, online stock market trading, Comex or perhaps sports arbitrage trading? As long as you do things properly, any of these online investment opportunities can prove to be very profitable.

2. Use low-risk investments

This type of online investments is perfect if you want to diversify your portfolio and at the same time counteract any losses that may occur if the value of higher-risk stocks drops. Low-risk investments are the safety net of your portfolio and they can help you a lot over the years, as they will steadily increase in value while you can continue buying and selling more volatile stocks. Of course, these investments will not protect you from all losses, so make sure that you still carefully plan and allow for some diversification to help you remain afloat in the midst of a turbulent market.

3. Determine your investment risk

If you want to gain profit from your online investments, a surefire way to do this is by determining your investment risk. In order to do this, the most common approach is to do some basic research concerning your online investment and the company which offers it. The great majority of online stock trading and investment sites offer many research options, so that you can analyze the performance of the investments over different periods of time. If you look at longer periods, such as 3 or 5 years, you will be able to see how consistent the performance of the stock was over that amount of time. If the stock or investment seems to be quite stable, especially with steady increase, then you can consider it low-risk or safety-stock and you can make your choices accordingly.

GETTING TRAFFIC OVERFLOW

Traffic, traffic, traffic! We all want more traffic but sometimes it can be hard to sift through all the things you can do and figure out the best way to increase your traffic. For starters, here are five proven things you can do that will increase your traffic.

1. Hit the GYM
A great source of traffic is search engines, so why not leverage them to their fullest before worrying about anything else. Getting your website placed high within search results is determined by three main things: code, links, and content. Because you are a blogger, content isn’t the biggest problem however the other two might be. By following these simple steps, you can increase your rankings and increase your search traffic.

2. Don’t be shy
There is always something hot in the blogosphere, just keep an eye out for what’s hot and make sure to join in on the conversation. This can boost traffic and links almost immediately. Sites like Techmeme feed off of what’s hot in the blogosphere and are a great place to put on your watchlist for the latest hot topics. One great example of this is the 5 rules of social media optimization. This article was taken by a handful of other bloggers and ended up becoming the 16 rules of social media optimization. This did not only create tons of links for the original article, but it also created tons of links for all the other bloggers who added to it.

3. Create some buzz
Social media sites like Digg, Del.icio.us and Netscape are all great sources of traffic. If you can get on the homepage of any of these sites you will get thousands of visitors within minutes and potentially thousands of new regular readers. These sites are mainly driven by votes so make sure your readers can vote for you by placing social bookmark buttons within your posts in order to have the best chance of success. Keep in mind that you’ll need to write content that is actually appealing enough to be voted to the top, not just anything will be successful here. We’ve seen a lot of how-to guides, resources, and lists become popular quickly so these might not be bad categories to play around with first. Just try to add value with your content and you’ll have the best chance.

4.Don’t be a link Nazi!
By linking to others within your blog posts and showing some link love, other people will likely link back to you. The more generous you are the more generous others will be to you. When linking out give it some time and don’t expect the majority of the sites to link back to you. And most importantly make sure to only link out when it will benefit your readers. Sooner or later this tactic will increase the number of sites linking to you which can ultimately help drive traffic.

5. Be a drama queen
By being constructively and tastefully confrontational you can get tons of traffic. Even if you don’t have a popular blog, calling out certain companies or individuals who are tracking their buzz will certainly get you a little traffic boost.

Most of these items almost deserve a post on their own to explain why they work and what they are really doing however sometimes it helps to keep things simple. The overarching theme here is really about being as proactive as possible and putting some work into getting out there more. If you put more energy behind getting your voice out there, your traffic will respond.

THIS ARTICLE IS CULLED FROM PRONET ADVERTISING BY NEIL PATEL
Read more from Neil Patel at pronet advertising

8 THINGS TO AVOID WHEN BLOGGING

That is so much about what you should do when you are blogging. In this

section, you will learn what to avoid when you blog online.

Tip #1 – Never Post Without First Proof Reading

You may say, “I was really gifted with great English”, but the least you can do

after spending time to create post is to spend a little more time to check the

grammar and spelling of your post content.

A quick way is to use the Firefox browser to type your content as they have a

built- in spell checker. You can also copy your content to Microsoft Words to

check for grammatical error.

Tip #2 – Do Not Write If You Do Not Have Ideas What To Write

When posting, have a minimum word length about 250 words or more. And

do not post on your blog for the sake of posting. You must remember that

people spend their precious time reading your post so your job is to ensure

you give them valuable information so that they would come back for more.

A quick way to get more content for your blog would be to go to Google

Videos and grab a 40-minute video clip on your topic. By doing so, you do

not have to write at all, you just have to put a video on your blog.

Tip #3 – Do not Copy Content From Others

When posting content on your blog, please avoid using duplicate content or

copyright content from others. You would be in for trouble when they find out

you steals content from them.

However, what you can do is you can take ideas from others and paraphrase

them. You will be amazed that most top seller books you see today at

bookshops have similar content.

Tip #4 – Do Not Post Offensive Post

Never post any form of writing that would offend anyone online. This is

especially so if it is someone you know and dislike, online or offline. It is

never civil to show your readers an offensive habit.

Tip #5 – Never Put Direct Referral On External Hyperlinks On The Same

Window

More often than not, when people read your blog post, they will find

hyperlinks on your post. You should never allow these links to external sites

that are not yours to appear in your blog..

A Bad Example (Opens Links on Same Browser)

< a href=”http://www.gathersuccess.com”>Gather Success<//a></ a=""><//></ a=""><//></><//>

A Good Example (Opens Link on New Browser)

< a href=”http://www.gathersuccess.com” target=”_blank”>Gather

Success<//a></ a=""><//></ a=""><//></><//>

Tip #6 – Do Not Hard Sell In Your Blog Post

I see this happening many times on many blogs of others who try too hard to

sell something on their blogs. They kept explaining why a product X should

be bought and insisted it’s the best product out there.

Instead of doing hard selling on your blog, what you should do is to

persuade. A soft- sell approach will be more effective and also gives your

readers some solid content so that they can benefit from reading your blog

Tip #7 – Do Not Go Off Topic On Your Blog

Writing in a blog can sometimes lead you into talking about almost anything

that comes to your mind. It’s very important, that whatever content which

comes out of your blog has to always be relevant to the topics on your blog.

You do not want to read a stock trading blog talking about cooking, do you?

Tip #8 – Credibility Is Key In Blogging

Never lie to your readers especially when you are paid to write reviews, tell

your readers it’s a paid review.

POWERFUL BLOGGING TIPS

8 Powerful Tips On Blogging

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Ss-ZBCL1INI/AAAAAAAAAFM/nSrhF0tKDQ8/s320/images.jpg4.jpg" /><img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Ss-ZDfkBVlI/AAAAAAAAAFU/9BIrRj51rhw/s320/images.jpg5.jpg" />

Tip #1 - Do A Survey On What Your Readers Like To Read About

It is always very important to know what your customers or readers like to
know more about. You can find out easily by just asking your audience. An
example I did was at this post

http://www.gathersuccess.com/announcments/worlds-first-paid-per-comment

where I posed the question of asking them what the top 3 problems that
people face online are.
With that information, you can gather the information and create a product or
service around it or write content on what your readers love to read about. In
that way, your readers will love to find out more about what you want to write
about and help to solve their problems.

Tip #2 - Open Your Creative Mindset

There is no right or wrong in blogging. However, what you need to do after
you find out what your readers want is to start to think of ideas or articles you
can write to cater to their needs. Do not worry if you feel the information is
really simple because trust me, there are still hundreds of people online who
will not know what you know.
Keep your articles short, sweet and straight to the point. But, remember
always be honest and speak from your heart as readers will be able to tell if
you are trying to lie.

Tip #3 - Promote Your Blog Post

Many people who blog online always fail to do this important step and expect
traffic to automatically just appear out of thin air. To be honest, you often
hear this at marketing events only but the truth is you WILL NEVER get
traffic if you do not promote your blog post.
So what you should do is start telling your friends about your blog post or go
to forums which you will learn more about that in the later chapters and post
your content in there.

Tip #4 – Start Collecting And Building Leads

Building a strong readership on a blog is important but what is more
important is to collect leads from your blog too. Leads are basically
information people give you about themselves when they fill in a form to get
a free gift from you.
The important thing to note is that without collecting people’s contact details,
there will be no way you can communicate with them later if you like to do so.
How much you would like to make from your blog or business will most likely
be determined by the number of leads and readership you have to your blog.
So start building leads today if you have not done so. You can actually get a
free auto- responder account at http://www.shoutresponse.com

Tip #5 – Get Yourself A Set of Golden Keywords

When you are thinking of posting a post on your blog, the first thing you
would need first is not the article but a bunch of golden keywords with high
demand.
With those keywords, you would want to optimize your blog post title, body,
meta tags and url with the right keywords in your blog post so that search
engine will be able to give you better ranking on searches. You will learn
more about SEO blog tagging later on in this book.

Tip #6 – Post Frequently on Your Blog

What do most successful bloggers have in common? Well, it’s very simple,
they post very often on their blogs. I know it would not be easy for most of
you, but try to post as frequently as possible on your blogs. A suggestion if
possible, is to post once a day, or at least once every 3 days.
There are two reasons for this: to keep search engine updated that there are
regular fresh contents in your blog, and hence, more for your readers to
read.

Tip #7 – Fill Up Your Categories with Keywords

To ensure you get the maximum exposure on search engines, you want to
ensure your categories in your blog are optimized with the right sets of
keywords.

Tip #8 – Always Moderate Your Post And Enable Spam Filter

To ensure top quality information and readers on your blog, you must always
remember to moderate your comments on your blog and enable the built- in
spam filter to , as the name suggests, filter off spam.
A popular plug-in used to filter spam is Akismet.

Blogging DOS and DONTs

Copyright Law: 12 Dos and Don’ts

by Daniel Scocco

As the blogging phenomenon expands, copyright concerns become quite important. Technology makes it really easy to copy, modify and share information, whether we talk about text, images, audio or video. The problem is that the vast majority of people do not have a clear understanding of the Copyright Law, which might result in illegal and costly mistakes. Below you will find 12 Do’s and Dont’s that will clarify what you can and what you can not do as an online publisher:

DOS

1. Do use material under public domain: you are free to use any work that is in public domain. This includes federal government documents, materials produced before 1923 and materials produced before 1977 without a copyright notice.

2. Do quote something you find interesting: the Copyright Act defines that short quotations for the purpose of criticism, commentary or news reporting are considered “fair use”. Notice that the quote should involve only a small portion of the work, and it should not replicate the “heart” of the material.

3. Do use facts and ideas: Copyright Law protects the expression of facts and ideas. That is the form, combination and structure of documents and not the facts themselves. You are free to use facts and ideas reported on articles or websites.

4. Do use other materials that are not subject to copyright: apart from facts and ideas there are many other classes of materials that can not be protected under the Copyright Law. Those materials include names, familiar symbols, listings of ingredients or contents, short phrases, titles, slogans and procedures (notice that some of those materials might be protected by trademark, though).

5. Do use a company name or logo if you are talking about it: trademarks should protect a company from people trying to use its name or logo to deceive customers. If you are criticizing or analyzing a company, however, you can use its name or logo under a “nominative fair use”.

6. Do use a company name on your domain: as mentioned on the previous item you can use a company’s name as long as you are not trying to deceive people that you speak on behalf of this company or that you are related to it in any way. This right applies to domain names. Someone could create a website to complain about a company, say Microsoft, and use a domain name that contains the name of this company, say microsoftsucks.com.

DON’TS

7. Don’t assume that if you credit the author there is no copyright infringement: a lot of people wrongly think that if they credit the author of an article or image they are not violating the copyright law. You can only use copyrighted material if you have explicit permission from the author to do so (or if you make fair use of it, as explained before).

8. Don’t copy material just because it does not show a copyright message: the Copyright Law required a copyright notice to protect works until 1977. In 1978, however, the law changed and abolished the requirement for copyright notice. This means that every published work (be it on paper or digital media) automatically gets copyright protection, whether expressed with a notice or not.

9. Don’t equate Creative Commons with “free for grab”: while Creative Commons licenses are less restrictive then standard copyright they should not be interpreted a “free for grab”. In order to understand what you can or can not do with Creative Commons material you should check what kind of license it is using. Certain licenses will require you to credit the original author, while others will require that you release any modifications of the document under the same license.

10. Don’t copy material just because you are not making a commercial use: while making commercial use of copyrighted material might make it easier for the author to claim damages against you the commercial use per se is not a requirement for copyright infringement. Even if you are not making a commercial use of the material you are still infringing the law if you do not have a permission from the author.

11. Don’t assume that if you remove the copyrighted material you will be out of trouble: a lot of people copy images and text around the Internet thinking that in the worst of the cases they will receive a take down notice from the author and remove the material from the website. The removal of the copyrighted material will not remove the copyright infringement at all. Should the author decide to go after you in count you will be in trouble all the same.

12. Don’t copy material just because you can’t find a copyright holder: the fact that a copyright holder can not be identified does not imply that the material can be freely copied. Similarly if you locate the copyright holder, email him asking permission and receive no answer back you would still be infringing the law if you use the material.

This article was not written by a lawyer and it does not intend to constitute legal advice.

HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR BLOG

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Ssz8lJeQBEI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/E4SU4t7yFPs/s320/blogging4beginners.jpg" />

For every blogger, there comes a special day - the day they first launch a new blog. Now unless you purchased someone else’s blog chances are your blog launched with only one very loyal reader - you. Maybe a few days later you received a few hits when you told your sister, father, girlfriend and best mate about your new blog but that’s about as far you went when it comes to finding readers.

Here are the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers. These are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the moment and want to get the ball rolling.

It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is called “traction”, which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers. Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth.

Top 10 Tips

10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice. This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical and a good “how-to” lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current (it isn’t news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight. The more pillars you have on your blog the better.

9. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.

You don’t have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.

8. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be series about what you call your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need a easily rememberable domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world (that’s the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL. Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember then you’ve done a good job!).

7. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people’s blogs. You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.

Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commentor and always have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and hence click through to visit your blog.

6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’s article you can do a trackback to their entry. What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry - it’s sort of like your blog telling someone else’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.

This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important - it gets the attention of another blogger. The other blogger will likely come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.

5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival often enjoy a spike in new readers.

This concept can be confusing so I suggest you take a look at the Carnival of the Cats for an example. You can also find a list of all the carnivals and submit your articles at the Carnival Submit Form.

3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’s worth the effort. Go to Blog Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!

2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I’ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won’t stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

I hope uve enjoyed this tips and will put it to practice as im about to put it to practice as well...............cuz we are all aiming at the same goal.. Sure, not everyone can pull it off, but it’s still fun to look at!

#3 Alexander McQueen

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Sssmi9x36TI/AAAAAAAAADI/b-64VelOxDg/s320/alexander-mcqueen.jpg" />

Alexander McQueen is everyone’s favorite ‘enfant terrible’ in the fashion industry, but whenever we see a show of his, we’re pretty much left speechless.

#4 Givenchy

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Sssm0E1IJUI/AAAAAAAAADQ/PrWc0Qr-eFA/s320/givenchy.jpg" />

There is nothing classier than the Givenchy line and this year it showed with tons of thirties’ and forties’ styles with a modern twist. Just breathtaking!

#5 Prada

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SssnEZF1kiI/AAAAAAAAADY/kB8dB5M6U0E/s320/prada.jpg" />

Can you say fashion reinvented? This year, the Prada fashion house stayed away from the 80s and swayed towards upholstery fabrics and forties styles

#6 Belanciaga

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SssnqxNNWNI/AAAAAAAAADg/obA8o-ceI2o/s320/belanciaga.jpg" />

It seems a lot of designers are going in the forties direction and Belanciaga is one of them. We just love their drapey styles!

#7 Gucci

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Sssn9LecjkI/AAAAAAAAADo/tOsH1I9UI2E/s320/gucci.jpg" />

Gucci’s been inspired by the glam rock style this year and we fell in love with it. Lots of thigh-high boots, leggings, leather jackets, the works!

#8 Chanel

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SssostIsFpI/AAAAAAAAADw/RT4Xa_ko33k/s320/chanel.jpg" />

Chanel’s been one of my favorite fashion houses for a long time and this year they went for a contemporary, toned-down look that might leave you feeling a little depressed, but very fashionable
.
#9 Christian dior

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsspIX7PBiI/AAAAAAAAAD4/7RWeN8PWIpI/s320/dior.jpg" />

Dior is one of the most sought-after designers and this year, Galliano outdid himself when he went back to behind-the-scenes documentary photographs taken more than half a century ago as Monsieur Dior dressed his cabine of mannequins for shows.

#10 Jean Paul Gaultier

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsspiMXz6DI/AAAAAAAAAEA/69qKeEcNojk/s320/jpg.jpg" />

Gaultier ran off with an 80s idea turned into geometric-deco meets sci-fi which we know the celebs are just going to go crazy for. As are we!

It seems a lot of designers are going in the forties direction and Belanciaga is one of them. The Los Angeles County Coroner's autopsy report has revealed the singer - who died of acute Propofol intoxication on June 25 - was not suffering from any serious physical problems at the time of his death.

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SskgFSZ8UNI/AAAAAAAAACg/sQgz8SFD0mM/s320/photo109.jpg" />

Apart from slightly inflamed lungs and minor arthritis, he was in a "good condition", with a healthy heart and kidneys and "weight average for his height."

His sexual organs were also functioning normally, with the report noting Michael was still producing sperm when he died.

The findings are likely to put pressure on Michael's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray - who allegedly injected him with the powerful anesthetic that killed him - as it proves the singer had no underlying health conditions that might have contributed to his death.

The post mortem also revealed bizarre details about Michael's body, including a tattoo on his scalp that stretched from ear to ear in a bid to hide his receding hairline and baldness.

His remaining hair was "tightly curled" and cut short so it could be hidden under his long, flowing wigs.

His lips had been tattooed pink and his eyebrows blackened with more ink.

The coroner's report also suggests Michael was not lying about suffering from vitiligo - a rare skin pigmentation disease he blamed for his transformation from black to white - with the physician noting that he had patches of black skin on his legs and elsewhere on his body.

Injuries inflicted by frantic attempts to revive the star were also visible on his body, including cracked ribs and extensive bruising.

Michael's death was ruled a homicide last month.

***********RIHANNA AND CHRIS BROWN PLANS A MEXICAN GETAWAY*********

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/Sskf2NFieHI/AAAAAAAAACY/_4voRLodWio/s320/rihanna-photo.jpg" />

The on/off couple - who are currently banned from seeing each other for five years by a court order after Chris was found guilty of assaulting Rihanna in February - have decided to jet to Acapulco, Mexico, as the ruling cannot be enforced outside America.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are planning a romantic holiday together

A source told Britain's Star magazine: "They spoke to their lawyers to see what was allowed, and are now planning two weeks in Mexico. Even though acne is more known to be a problem amongst teenagers, this condition can strike at any age. While there are many preventative measures you can take to avoid acne, here's how to treat existing acne.

STEPS

1) Stop popping the spots, also known as pimples and zits. This may make the pimple look worse due to inflammation and irritation. Popping a zit can spread infection under the skin and produce even more pimples than before. If you do pop a spot then immediately clean it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in order to prevent infection. If a pimple erupts in a particularly bothersome place, learn how to target a single pimple. And if you're determined to pop, learn how to pop a pimple safely and properly. If you do pop a pimple and you want to avoid anything resembling Western medicine, one thing to try is put a mixture of honey and ground cinnamon on the spot. Put a band-aid on it also. You may also want to stay away from stress.

2) Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn't matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.

3) Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too. Take caution, because over-exfoliating can actually increase the likelihood of acne by irritating the skin. Pat dry, rather than rubbing, since rubbing can cause irritation to the fresh skin you've just revealed.

4) Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol can also be used for severe oiliness, but it can really dry out your skin and irritate it more. Some toners are medicated, and this stage is the best for using a medicated product if you're only going to use one medication.

5) Dermabrasion removes the redness. A simple natural home remedy for this is to use the skin inside of an egg shell. Google "dermabrasion with eggs".

6) Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide (ask your doctor about benzaclin, with moisturizer if you have dry skin, as it works better than just plain benzoyl because benzoyl takes up to 8 weeks before improvement is seen) which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster.

7) Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you've gotten your acne cleared up, it's important to continue with the treatment that's working so it does not return.

8) If all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don't need them or for something they don't treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria. That means that the antibiotics won't work for the things they used to (including your acne).

9) Keep hair off of your face if at all possible. If you want to keep your bangs, then consider taking showers regularly or keeping your forehead clean with oil-dabbing cloths / clean tissues / etc.

10) Get good sleep. Stress increases your skin's oiliness, which, combined with sweat and dirt, can clog pores and cause pimples. (Change your pillowcase frequently.)

11) Acne medications may cause your skin to initially break out worse than before because all FDA-approved acne medications (benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and sulfur) are causing your skin to regenerate faster. This brings existing acne pimples already under your skin (but not visible yet) to the surface, which in turn causes a massive but fortunately temporary break out. Give the medications time to work -- about one to two weeks -- and you will notice a big difference in the quality of your skin.

*See a dermatologist if over the counter remedies do not work. They specialize in skin care and can prescribe you medicines that help you improve it.

*Drink plenty of water. Staying well hydrated can help your condition improve, because the "waste management" control system in your body requires a lot of water to do its job. Without enough water, the body has difficulty removing some waste products efficiently.

*Look for face washes which contain the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. This is the key ingredient in some of the best face washes. use a 5-10% benzoyl peroxide of mild to moderate acne and 10% for severe.

*Try smashing one tablet of aspirin in a small bowl, then adding lemon juice to the mixture. Aspirin is acetesalicylic acid, chemically related to salicylic acid. Apply to the affected areas overnight. It boosts the healing process while reducing redness.

*Try putting toothpaste (paste, NOT gel) on your face, cover it with a bandage, and keep it on all night. When you wash it off in the morning your acne will look better. The astringent and surfactant nature of the toothpaste will help diminish the appearance of pimples. But the toothpaste has been known to burn sensitive skin of the face, so be careful. If your face does burn, stop acne treatments and work on healing your burn.

*Try using Bentonite Clay, a natural mineral powder which has been known to absorb impurities and help neutralise the skin's oiliness, and can be found online. Mix 2 tablespoons with a dash of cold water and smooth over the face as a thick paste. Once dried gently wipe off with a flannel or sponge.

*Another way to zap pimples is shaving cream. Apply it to your pimple and it will dry it up. It disappears by morning, but wash your face after waking up.

*If nothing is working for you, drink four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted with water daily. It works very well for some people and is worth a try. Another good solution is aloe Vera gel fresh from the plant, taken orally.

*You can also try taking a zinc tablet everyday.

*Mix some lemon juice and rose water in a small bowl and apply it on your pimples, ONLY YOUR PIMPLES, over night. It will burn a little. When you wake up in the morning, your pimples will reduce.

*Photo therapy or blue-light therapy is an increasingly common form of treating facial or body acne. It uses light that interact with peripheries in skin bacteria to reduce bacteria production and rectify acne. Many dermatologists use this form of treatment in a clinic setting, but it can be costly and time consuming. Health Canada recently approved a new product that has the same therapeutic effect, but it can be administered by the individual.

*Get plenty of sleep! They don't call it "beauty-sleep" for nothing!

*Dab garlic juice on emerging and mature pimples

*Treat acne with benzoyl peroxide that are available in your local stores

*Disguise a pimple with eye-redness relieve eye drops by applying to a Q-tip and hold on pimple for about 10-15 seconds.

*Mix a packet of fast acting yeast with enough tea tree oil to make a paste. Spread over emerging pimple and cover with bandage & leave on overnight because yeast will cause the pimples to rise out of the skin while the tea tree oil attacks it.

*Go to the store and get Cortizone 10.It will help stop acne.

*Soak a cotton ball in warm salt water. Press on top of blemish for 3 minutes to dissolve the top. Then, dab a bit of honey on the affected area to deep clean the pore and draw out bacteria. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

*One thing you should do is change your pillow case(s) every day. That way you won't get any oil or dirt on your face again.

*"Proactiv®" has also proven to be useful in some circumstances, though for some people it doesn't work.

*If you ever pop a whitehead and you have "Proactiv®", put a dab of Revitalizing Toner on the popped zit. This should help clear it.

12) Apply some sudocrem to your spots, This helps them.

13) use shampoo! suave professionals biobasics for damaged hair is a good example. its cheap and you have a lot of it, and at the same time it gets rid of all the oil and grease, helping zits fade. however, many shampoos contain lauryl sulfates which can damage your skin.

14) Change your pillow case every week. You sleep on it! Most of your germs and bacteria are passed onto your pillow case and back onto your skin.... making acne worse.

15) Take Minocycline. Minocycline is an antibiotic which kills bacteria. Minocycline should be taken with caution, however, as it has been show to damage the thyroid gland, liver, and hair. It makes skin sensitive and lowers the body's resistance to pathogens. If you do choose to take minocyline, make sure to get bloodwork every six months at the doctor's office to monitor your health.

16) Get good nutrition. These top five nutrients have been shown to have a very positive effect on your skin and in treating acne. These nutrients, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin E, selenium and chromium, can pack a powerful punch in your acne war.

* Zinc - Zinc is the Acne stopper. It works in several ways to both treat acne and prevent it. It helps the body regulate certain hormones which prevents acne, but it also helps with wound healing, tissue regeneration and boosting the body's immune system. Most people in the United States actually have a marginal zinc deficiency, but you can get zinc from many of your favorite foods, such as seeds, nuts, legumes and whole grains.

* Vitamin A - Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin that helps you have beautiful, healthy hair and skin. You can find vitamin A from fruits and vegetables. Dark green vegetables and deep yellow vegetables as fruits give you a good dose of vitamin A by providing carotenes. Oatmeal is a good source of vitamin A, as well as cantaloupe, honeydew melon, broccoli, spinach and sweet potato. Liver contains a megadosis: watch out, vitamin A is stored in the body and you can actually get vitamin A poisoning.

* Vitamin E - Vitamin E helps to normalize decreased levels of antioxidant enzymes. This is often prevalent in male acne patients, but vitamin E has proven beneficial to both male and female acne sufferers. Almonds, sunflower seeds, peanut butter, spinach, broccoli and mango are all great sources of vitamin E.Even a snack as simple as ¼ to ½ cups of raw nuts and seeds can help your skin become clearer and healthier.

* Selenium - Selenium works much like vitamin E in that it also helps to normalize decreased levels of antioxidant enzymes. Selenium can be found in foods such as vegetables, meats and bread. Some nuts, such as Brazil nuts and walnuts are also rich in selenium. You can also supplement your diet with selenium, taking 100 to 200 micrograms per day. However, 3 ½ ounces of beef has 35 micrograms of selenium and 3 ounces of tuna has 63. Brazil nuts, though, are the winner with 544 micrograms of selenium per ounce.

* Chromium - Chromium, found in brewer's yeast, has been shown in research studies to heal acne. You can add brewer's yeast to many different foods.Sprinkle a tablespoon over cold cereal or hot oatmeal, mix it into soups and stews or add it into your breakfast smoothie. Be careful, though, if you are not accustomed to brewer's yeast, a large serving of it can cause nausea and diarrhea. Start small, just a teaspoon or tablespoon at a time. This is a great acne buster.

17) AVOID TOUCHING YOUR FACE. Your hands and fingers have a lot of oil on them that can clog your pores. If you touch your face, some of that oil is transferred to your face.

18) Apply sour cream to your face. While yogurt is good, it can slip off easily. Buy fresh sour cream and refrigerate. Tie back your hair and make sure not to soil anything. Smear your face, especially pimples, with sour cream using your palms and wash it off after 15 minutes. If you are really busy, then simply apply the sour cream to your pimples and work until fifteen minutes are over, then wash off the pimples with warm water.

19) Try going out in the sun. The UV rays dry out your spots and stimulate the vitamin D production in the body.

                      *********************TIPS********************************

*The best solution is to see a dermatologist.

*Women/Girls only: certain contraceptives are known to cure acne.

*Remove the Redness - you can do a simple dermabrasion treatment at home if you have eggs in your house.

*After using any of the above-recommended acne medications (benzoyl peroxide, etc.), be sure to apply a gentle moisturizer over it in case you have sensitive skin.

*Tinted moisturizer works well to cover pimples up, but this DOES NOT mean you have full sun protection.

*Make sure all the products you use are non comedogenic or non acnedemic. This means that it does not clog pores.

*Use any daily wash acne treatment regularly in the morning and night.

*Drink Water.

*Stop the Spread of Acne - Apply acne medication about half an inch around the affected area to help keep the acne from spreading. Acne moves across the face from the nose to the ear, so you need to treat beyond the inflamed area. Most people make the mistake of treating only the pimples and not the outlying areas of skin. This is wrong.

*Wash your pillowcase often and always use clean face towels. Dirty towels and pillowcases can harbor bacteria and germs that can make acne worse.

*Try to prevent over-exposure to sunlight. Over-exposure to sunlight can dry out the skin and cause breakouts. If you are out in the sunlight very often, use a sunscreen, preferably spf 35+.

*Use cold water when washing your face. It reduces inflammation. {{fact}}

*Go to the beach! Swim around in the water, and enjoy yourself. The salt in the water will sting a little, but in the end, your face will be much, much cleaner than before. Plus, you'll have an awesome tan. Note: Fresh water has minimal salt.

*If none of this works for you, don't worry. Acne is more common than you'd ever think and a lot of the time it isn't as bad as you make out. At the end of the day, you can't help it and friends who judge you because of them aren't worth having!

*Forget how many spots you have, confidence will make them disappear in front of other people - all they will see is all this attractive confidence!

*Don't let your hair get in your face while playing sports. try putting in a headband to keep yout hair back and out of your pretty face!

*If you have acne do not wear foundation. it gets clogged in your pores, and if you wear it while you are playing sports you get sweat and make up clogged in your pores and the pimples you will get are huge!

                       *********************WARNING**********************

*Sunburn increases the risk of skin cancer considerably! It can cause more irritation and increase your acne.ex. dryness, painful to the touch, peeling...''

*Consult a doctor if your acne is open or bleeding.

*Consider seeing a doctor as well if the acne has become cystic or highly inflamed. If you do not treat cystic acne there is a high chance of it scarring your face.

*Benzoyl peroxide-based products usually bleach hair and fabrics. Be extremely careful using them around brightly colored or dark colored fabrics, as you can end up with ruined towels and shirts. (You may want to only use white towels and sheets while using these products).

*Make sure you are not allergic to products/ingredients mentioned in this article before using them.

*Be careful with what prescriptions you take. Some oral prescriptions, including [[Start Using Accutane
Accutane]] and similar products, can cause irreversible liver damage. Talk to your doctor or dermatologist before taking them.

*At the fitness center is where you can get tons of nasty acne; always wear gloves and use lotion.

*Don't buy multi-step "active" style solutions. If you read the labels, they contain the same active ingredients that other over-the-counter acne medications contain: salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or sulfur.

*If you are pregnant (and pregnant women often get acne) consult your doctor before using '''''any''''' over-the-counter product.

*Take fish oil daily. bumble bee is a good brand.

*Neutrogena has many acne products, including makeup that still lets your skin breathe while you wear

IF U WANT TO KNOW THE BEST CREAM TO USE THEN POST UR REQUEST.................

SO FAR SO GOOD, IF THERE HAPPENS TO BE QUESTIONS, DON'T HESITATE TO ASK BY POSTING IT.....

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH FACEBOOK

http://www.ongsono.com/<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsZbLRda3vI/AAAAAAAAABY/IpYuClxJj0A/s320/images.jpg" />

How To Make Money With Facebook

If you haven’t heard of Facebook by now, you must be one of the few people on the planet who hasn’t. It’s one of the biggest social networking sites on the internet, and as such it offers a great way to get in touch with like minded people who have similar interests to you.

But while many social networking sites don’t particularly like blatant advertising on their pages, Facebook doesn’t fall into that group. There are ways and means to do most things online, and with Facebook the answer is in attracting the right kind of people to your profile page.

If you want to get started making money on facebook right away, check out the Super Flippers E-Book which shows you step by step how to build and sell facebook apps. I say that because you don’t have to be yourself in order to make money from Facebook. Don’t forget that you want to attract the attention of a specific group of people here, so that you become known as someone who is something of an expert on one particular subject. So choose wisely!

Go for a popular niche that you have an interest in yourself, and develop your persona in that area. If you already have something of a web presence in this area then you’ll find it will help you as more and more people become aware of who you are and what you know about.

Your first port of call, if you have anything second hand to sell which is related to your niche, is the Marketplace. It’s free to place ads in the Marketplace and there is no limit on how many you can place, so if for example you come across a bargain lot of books on your subject on eBay or at a yard sale you can list them all individually on Facebook and sell them on for a profit.

If you have a budget to spend on advertising and you have some external websites you want to promote, you can try out the Social Ads to see what benefits you get from them. It is well worth reading through the relevant help section to see what is involved though, as it is quite in depth.

The main benefit to being a member of Facebook is that you can build and use any number of applications to perform certain tasks on your profile page. Facebook doesn’t frown at users making money from their Facebook page, and indeed many people link in to other websites outside of Facebook itself. People are constantly building new applications and many of them are used by many different users to create pages that appeal to their own particular needs.

This is partly why you will succeed in making more money from Facebook if you brand yourself carefully before you get started on the site. Figure out what it is you want to do and what you want to achieve. If you already have a website up and running then you will be able to link into that, so keep the look and feel of your Facebook page in the same vein as your site.

But while you can link to other sites outside of Facebook, some people also sprinkle some affiliate links on their actual Facebook page itself. For example, some quick research revealed one person who links into a range of ClickBank products on their page and does well from doing so.

So long as you start from a strong position with a particular focus and brand in mind, you can do well by experimenting with all the benefits that Facebook offers. Take time to build up a network of friends and make sure you become known for being an expert in your particular sphere of interest

If you’re ready to get started making money on facebook, check out the Super Flippers E-Book which shows you step by step how to build and sell facebook apps. Some of this research will be done with the client to get an understanding of their needs, and other research will be done to learn more about a specific industry. When meeting with your client, you’ll be looking to discover as much as possible to help you develop an outline for the site and eventually design it. This includes asking about their target audience, goals, creative direction and other variables that may affect what you can offer the client, such as budget and deadline. Most likely before (to be prepared) and after gathering information from the client you will perform some industry or market research. This can be as simple as looking to see what other websites in the field look like to in-depth research with focus groups. The level of research performed will depend on the client’s budget and your existing knowledge of the industry.

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsXX0PXJrcI/AAAAAAAAABA/j6pjSL3oVOI/s320/images1.jpg" />

BRAINSTORMING

Once you know what the project is all about, it’s time to get some ideas together, and brainstorming is a great start. Rather than looking for the perfect idea to be your first, throw out any and all ideas or concepts for the website as a start. Some websites might call for a standard web interface, with navigation (a button bar) and content areas where users are most likely to expect them. Others may require a unique concept to present the content. In the end the content will drive the design… a news site will have a much different approach than a photographer’s web portfolio.

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsXX2TsXHJI/AAAAAAAAABI/vUzOEhTGafA/s320/images2.jpg" />

DECIDE ON TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Early in the process of developing a website, decisions need to be made regarding the technical requirements of the project. Such decisions will affect the budget, time frame and in some cases the overall feel of the site. One of the primary decisions is what the underlying structure of the site should be, which will determine what software is used and what system makes the site “work.” Options include:

*Basic HTML: A standard HTML site in which each page is edited manually. This may be relatively quick to develop but leaves little flexibility and a lot of ongoing maintenance.

*Use a Content Management System: Using a CMS generally allows a client to perform regular content updates, while the designer controls the overall look and feel of the site. Some systems may be developed from scratch, others purchased and tailored to the client’s needs, and others available as online systems (sites such as Blogger and WordPress are free and include a basic CMS).

*Flash: Flash sites are developed within Adobe Flash and can offer a rich, animated, multimedia experience. While layout work in Flash is often easier than coding a site, Flash development (making the site operate) can be time-consuming and complicated, but rewarding.

WRITE AN OUTLINE

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uKVPIvKOuKE/SsXYAd8B2OI/AAAAAAAAABQ/47WNVaM1JkY/s320/images3.jpg" />

Now that you’ve gathered the necessary information and brainstormed some ideas, it’s a good idea to get it all down on paper. An outline of a website should include a list of each section to be included on the site, with a description of what type of content will be shown on each page. It should also describe in as much detail as possible what features would be on the site, such as user accounts, commenting, social networking functions, video, or a newsletter sign-up. Aside from helping organize the project, the client should be presented with the outline so they can approve it before the project continues. This will allow them to add, remove or adjust any sections or features, and will ultimately help you develop a budget and time frame and build the site. Agreeing on a price for a website project based on an approved outline will help to avoid additional fees or differences in opinion late in the project.

CREATE WIREFRAMES

Wireframes are simple line drawings of website layouts that allow you (and the client) to focus on placement of elements rather than color and type. This is extremely helpful as it determines what content deserves the most focus and what percentage of the space on the page. Without being distracted by other visual elements, approved wireframes provide a framework for your designs.

DESIGN THE WEBSITE

Once you and your client are happy with the wireframes, it’s time to start designing the site. Adobe Photoshop is the most common tool for creating the initial designs. The focus of the site design should be to present the content…. while flashy designs and animation have their place, they should not overpower what the user is looking for. Consistent navigation will help your visitors find all your main content areas, while clean use of type (in the case of a text-driven site) will keep them reading and coming back for more. Before you have actual content for a site design, text will help fill spaces without distracting your client.

Adobe Photoshop

Effective Website Navigation

Successful Website Layouts

Successful Flash Portfolios

BUILD WEB PAGES

When your design is approved, the pages need to be turned from mockups into actual web pages written in HTML and CSS. Experienced designer/developers may choose to take on all the coding, while someone focused on the design side of the web may work closely with a developer to bring the site to life. If that is the case, the developer should be involved from the start, helping to make sure the design is a realistic and an effective web layout, and that promised features are both possible to execute and beneficial to the site.

Software such as Adobe Dreamweaver can help a designer turn a mockup into a working web page, with drag-and-drop features, pre-built functions and buttons to add links and images. If the site is done in Flash, it will be built within the Flash software rather than in HTML or other languages.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

Once your layout is completed in HTML and CSS, it needs to be integrated with the system you have chosen in order to build a functioning website. This may mean developing templates to be read by a content management system, altering a WordPress template, or using Dreamweaver to create links between pages and more advanced web features. This is again a step that may be left to another member or members of the team.

PROMOTE THE WEBSITE

With your website online, it’s time to promote it. Driving traffic to a site can include optimizing it for search engines, sending newsletters to highlight new content, advertising with Google or with banner ads on other sites, and more conventional methods such as print advertising and word-of-mouth

KEEPING WEBSITE CONTENT

One of the best ways to keep people coming back to your site is to keep the content fresh. With all of the work put into a site, you don’t want it to remain the same for months after the launch. Continue to post new content, photos, videos, or music… whatever the site was built to present. A blog is a great way to keep a site updated, with posts of any length on any topic related to your site.

Thanks for going through this article, incase of any question..post it up and u will receive answers at the soonest possible time......Always me

KUFRE OKON

welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are all welcome to the new world of answers, in the aspect of music, friends, downloads and all manner of things we can lay our hands on..
